These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Printomat — the website, the workbench and every related service we operate (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Printomat turns a photo or a text prompt into an image, and that image into a 3D-printable mesh. You upload a picture or describe an object, the Service generates image variations using AI models, and the variation you pick is converted into a polygon mesh you can download (STL, 3MF, GLB) and print on a consumer 3D printer.
Generation is performed by third-party AI models. Output is probabilistic: two runs with the same input can produce different results, and no specific result is ever guaranteed.
You need an account to use the workbench. You must provide a working email address, keep your password secret and be legally capable of entering into this agreement. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. One person — one account; automated account creation is not allowed.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at support@printomat.ai immediately.
The Service runs on credits. Credits are prepaid usage units with the following properties:
Refunds of credit purchases are governed by the Refund Policy.
All purchases (credit packs and subscriptions) are processed by Paddle.com, acting as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, payment collection, applicable taxes (VAT/sales tax), invoices and refunds. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms, and your card statement will show Paddle as the seller. We never see or store your card details.
Subscriptions grant a fixed number of credits every billing cycle. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and you keep access until then. There are no partial or pro-rata refunds for unused time — see the Refund Policy for the exact rules, including the conditions for refunding a first charge.
You keep all rights to the photos and prompts you submit. By submitting them you grant us a limited license to store and process them solely to operate the Service (including sending them to our generation providers).
You own the models the Service generates for you. The scope of use depends on your plan: the free tier is for personal, non-commercial use; paid plans include a commercial license for the models generated while the plan is active. You are responsible for making sure your inputs — and therefore your outputs — do not infringe anyone else's rights.
You must not use the Service to:
We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate this section.
Every generated mesh runs through the quality checks we state in the product (currently: watertightness, manifold geometry, triangle count and dimension reporting). Beyond those stated checks we give no warranty of printability or fitness for a particular purpose. Real-world print results depend on your printer, slicer settings, material and scale — all of which are outside our control and your responsibility. Do not rely on generated parts for safety-critical, medical or load-bearing applications.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, specific generation times or the continued availability of any particular AI model — upstream providers change, and maintenance windows happen. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion via support@printomat.ai. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms; in that case unused credits are forfeited without compensation. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability) survive it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data arising from the use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. The "LAST UPDATED" date at the top always reflects the current version, and we will announce material changes on the site or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
